School Objectives
To provide a comedy performing option for the 6th Form students. in
Workshops
This programme took the format of the Stand Out 6-week course but was delivered over a condensed period - 1 hour a week for 5 weeks. The students took part in workshops to generate comedy ideas and were supported to write, edit and learn the skills necessary to deliver them in a comedic way.
Due to the course being a shorter model, the tutors worked more intensively with a smaller group. It also meant that students were required to develop ideas ad work on their material outside of the comedy sessions. This was something the students enjoyed doing and the final performance was a testament to the hard work they had put in over the course of the 5 weeks.
