Royal Court Liverpool

The home of Liverpool comedy theatre has a number of exciting opportunities for masterclasses, after show talks and school group bookings in 2009.

Over the course of the last two years Royal Court Liverpool has re-established itself as a producing theatre and now regularly brings the very best in entertainment to the people of Liverpool. With 2008 upon us, the Royal Court is showcasing the very best of the city's talent with a wide range of Liverpool writers, actors, directors and technicians coming together for eight plays in 2008. A fantastic year of theatre is guaranteed as writers of the calibre of Willy Russell, Alan Bleasdale and Jim Cartwright are combining with more recent successes such as Dave Kirby and Nicky Allt (Brick Up the Mersey Tunnels). With ticket prices set so that shows are accessible to all there will be plenty to celebrate in the next twelve months. Why not be a part of it?

"Eithne's workshop on 'Stags & Hens' was extremely beneficial to the students as it gave them an insight into how a production is put together. It helped them to develop a deeper understand of the characters and helped them to think about all the different aspects involved in performing including, voice, body language and relationships created on stage'' Claire Amos, Head of Performing Arts, New Heys School

During 2008 and 2009 there will be opportunities to book masterclass workshop in conjunction with Royal Court shows, attend after words with cast members and receive discounts on school group bookings.
