
Liverpool Comedy Festival is an annual international comedy event celebrating Liverpool's worldwide reputation as Capital of Comedy. It is a major part of the Capital of Culture programme. The Festival takes place in venues throughout Liverpool and Merseyside and attracts acts such as Peter Kay, Paul Merton, Jimmy Carr, Dylan Moran, Lucy Porter, Barry Cryer, Dara O'Briain, Jo Caulfield, Sue Perkins and Johnny Vegas.
